I don't think it comes as much of a suprise to learn that Super Mario Galaxy sold incredibly well during it's launch week. Even still, 500K is quite a big number and it'll surely continue to sell well through the holidays. Not suprisingly, the title had the strongest sales week of any Wii game debut. Perhaps a little surprising was the fact that it had the best first week of any Mario title ever.
Here's hoping the likes of Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. Brawl can continue such strong performances next year.
