Nintendo has send out a Wii firmware update that includes some nice channel upgrades as well as an overhaul of the shopping channel. Some key features include having the news and forecast channels show more information on the main menu and the message system managing "Today's Accomplishments" better.
The shopping channel itself has received most of the upgrades as it now allows much more sorting and searching for people trying to find specific titles. There's also a popular titles section for pointing out the best of the best. New groupings allow you to dive into a specific genre, publisher, or system (each with a total game count listed).
Overall, it's a nice little update but it'd sure be nice to see a new channel soon.
